They also shave 20 grams off the standard OE axle. Leverless design provides added security and clearance for when situations get tight.
The Burgtec Santa Cruz 12x168.5mm Rear Bicycle Axle - Black - 9451 is constructed from 7075 Aluminium and made to the manufacturer's exact specifications. It fits all 148mm x 12mm and 142mm x 12mm frames, with an exact axle length of 168.5mm and a thread of M12 x 1.0mm pitch, which also fits other brands that use this size.
